HARDSHIP FUND

Families on incomes of less than £200 a month cannot make ends meet, especially now that food costs have risen dramatically.

Who is the Hardship Fund for?

By partnering with our Christian friends in Russia we can identify families in need. The mothers in these families were raised in orphanages so have struggles that stem from that. Many are single parents which makes surviving financially near impossible. To reduce the risk of history repeating itself, we support them so their own children do not go without basic needs.

A Bursary for Basic Needs

Depending on exchange rates, our bursary amounts to an additional £30 to £40 each month in the family's pocket.

It's needed for food and medicines, and at certain times of year when there are extra expenses such as shoes for growing children, winter coats and back-to-school items. This is especially important so that children of families in poverty are not singled out as different from their peers.
